Please note that the support numbers are as follows:

When calling the support centre, please have the following information ready:
  • Your Name/Contact
  • Your Site Name
  • Your Site Telephone Number
  • Details about the Problem/s you are experiencing
  • The times the Problem/s have occured
  • Exact wording or Errors or other Messages displayed
  • What action has been taken already

The above numbers are manned 24 Hours a day Monday - Sunday

When on a support call, please request the name of the support agent and the ref no. of the call.

There is a cell phone number that can be used if you cannot get through on the above numbers.
Please note that the cell phone number is not to be used under normal circumstances as we can only field one call at a time.
The other two numbers provided go through to our Support Centre where support agents can take the call.

Hotline Support Service: MICROS operates a Nation-wide Hotline SUPPORT CENTRE twenty-four hours a day – three hundred and sixty-five days a year. (Not a cell phone) The relevant MICROS  Support Expert will contact you within minutes of you requesting support.

Software Support: Software support for your MICROS system will be provided telephonically, via modem or on-site. Skilled industry and product experts will assist /advise you in a timeous, professional manner. A Software Enhancement License Agreement is included with our Comprehensive Support Plan. This will ensure that the version of your Application Software is always kept up to date.

Hardware Support: MICROS is committed to solving your Support issues quickly and effectively. We have therefore adopted the following strategy in terms of hardware support:
Our team of highly skilled technicians will simply replace a faulty spare part. This provides a “quick-fix” for our customers with minimal disruption to their operation. Should it be necessary to remove a MICROS device for repairs in the workshop, a temporary replacement will be made available.

Parts and Supplies: MICROS offer a full line of quality parts and supplies to support hospitality operations. These are the products that keep your business running, including magnetic cards, card reader cleaning kits, backup media, paper and ribbon cassettes.

Support Centres: MICROS currently have support centres in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, George and Nelspruit.
